While in The Gambia – Courtney and Emily came up with the idea of creating a toy for the hospital that would give the children something to do during recovery. Finally, on the 4th June 2010 we managed to deliver the finished toy to the hospital. Thank you to all the donors who made it possible J |
The first England game of the world cup was upon us and excitement was in the air. Everyone went red and white crazy and headed down to the British High Commission to watch the match. We also invited the peace corps just to liven things up a bit and soon the party was in full swing! My personal highlight of the evening was spotting a bottle of Magners behind the bar! First cider in 10 months... lush! So after feeling rather sorry for Green and yelling in all the right places we hung out with our feet in the pool until late. Roll on world cup 2010! |
