Christmas Day
| I woke up on Christmas morning to a lovely breakfast with Angela. We had dutch waffles and dutch bread (left by Marielle) which was lush! We then all headed down to the beach for a bbq. We ended the day by watching The Snowman and The Life of Brian (My first Monte Python experience!). Was a lovely day although did miss family and friends x Hope you all had a good one! |
Christmas Eve
| The Filipino volunteers had a feast on Christmas eve called Noche Buena which was great fun. The food was out of this world! Boy, the Filipinos know how to cook! At 9pm Angela, Sukey, Cathy and I went to midnight mass which finished at 12:30am. The choir's singing was beautiful. It was nice to sing some Christmas carols to African drums. |
